Concealers are a life-changing product. It’s a must in each vanity. Concealers are mainly know for hiding dark circles but there are various uses of this product. I jotted down my favorite ways to use concealers. Hope you guys enjoy it! So, lets go !!
- Apply concealer on the edge of the winged liner to correct or sharpen it.
- It can be used on eyelid as an eye-shadow primer.
- Apply little concealer on your lips to get your nude lipstick to show its true color and also any lipstick will stay longer.
- To sharpen the lip lines, apply concealer on edge of the lip line.
- Apply color correcting concealer to cancel out any redness and hide those pesky pimples.
- When concealing a pimple, first use a green concealer and then cover with a concealer that matches your skin tone perfectly.
- Apply concealer to different areas of face for highlighting and contouring.
- After applying concealer, blot the area with a tissue to prevent any creases around your eyes.
- Apply concealer underneath and above your eyebrow to clean up and give your eyebrow a natural look.
- To get an intensified and sexy looking collarbone, shrug your shoulders up and trace the natural contours with a concealer two shades darker than your skin tone, and then highlighting them with two shades lighter.

I got this Wet n Wild 1 step wonder gel nail polish in the shade CORAL SUPPORT. I really like this nail paint. It applies nicely and I absolutely love the brush that comes with these. It’s flat and rounded and applies easily.
The website claims that color will stay up to 2 weeks without chipping. I will say, while it’s possible but I would definitely recommend top coat. It gave my nails gel like finish which I really liked because no UV required. My manicure lasted much longer with it and I also noticed a pretty big difference in the overall look of the polish on my nail with the top coat vs without (I liked it with top coat more).
This is how it looks after 5 days,
Overall, I really enjoyed this polish. The color and finish is great. They’re priced nicely and the formula was easy to work with.I want more colors! I’ve fallen in love with this formula because there’s no fuss with it. It dries quickly and lasts very well so that’s all I need in a nail polish.
What do you think of these? Have you tried them before? Have an opinion on their wear time? I’d love to hear!
Happy Polishing 🙂
Honey is one of the gentlest things you can put on your face. From young, oily and acne-prone skin to the dry, maturing types—honey has something for everyone.
Here are my top 5 ways to use honey,
Simple honey mask: Honey has moisturizing and antioxidant properties. It can be used as wonder mask. It also gently exfoliates. Apply a generous layer of raw honey to clean skin; relax for 30 minutes and rinse. Click here for a simple DIY using honey.
Honey scrub: Mix a small amount of honey with oats for a body and face scrub that exfoliates and moisturizes.
Lip moisturizing: Due to its moisturizing property, honey is great for lips. Click here for a simple DIY.
For acne: Due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties honey works extremely well on skin that is prone to breakout. It helps heal existing acne and keep new breakouts from happening.
Anti-ageing properties: Honey is beneficial in protecting the skin against ultraviolet rays. Honey can thus be used as a good sunscreen preventing damage to the skin and premature ageing.
For those of you who are not familiar with Ipsy it’s a beauty box subscription for US$10.00 a month. It’s like a little piece of heaven for any makeup lovers. It is such a fun surprise to look forward to each month. I have been subscribed to Ipsy for over a year now but this will be the first time I am doing a beauty box review. So let’s get started.
First of all, I loved the bag for this month. The theme for this month was DESTINATION CHIC. The bag is designed as an envelope. I guess this was the first time ipsy changed their bag pattern. So I totally loved how the bag looked.
Here are the goodies which I got,
I got this mini palette in the shade Shimmer Bronze RADIATE. I am yet to try these out but the shade looks amazing. The packaging is simple and its travel friendly. Perfect for summer and beach essentials.
This is a exfoliating cleanser which contains papaya and aloe. Its just a travel size and it contains 20g of product. Again easy and travel friendly for a beach vacation.

Let me know which is your favorite beauty box! Hope you enjoyed it!
Okay I know I am back with yet another DIY but honestly guys I am loving it. Its simple easy and so inexpensive and as the title says we are going to do a DIY tinted moisturizer.
A tinted moisturizer is nothing but a moisturizer with a little bit of tint/color. When you don’t want to do a full face makeup but still want your face to look flawless then you can just apply a tinted moisturizer. This will not entirely give you like full foundation coverage but will hide those small blemishes. So let’s get started.
You Will Need:
- Your favorite moisturizer
- A foundation
Take your moisturizer (I am using Nivea Crème) and a tiny bit of your foundation. I am using Maybelline Fit me foundation (Dewy) in the shade 315 (Soft Honey) which is little bit dark for me. Mix well and apply on your face with your fingers or foundation brush.
You can also use any of your foundation which you think it’s dark for your skin tone. This will you a sheer to medium coverage and keeps your skin moisturized throughout the day. It feels comfortable and doesn’t give any cakey look.
Let me know your thoughts about it. Thanks !
Here are few hacks to get that perfect lips!
For long lasting:
Before you apply any lip color, just apply a coat of compact powder on your lips. The powder helps the lip color to lock and stay in place. Also it prevents your lipstick from smudging and bleeding.
For a Perfect cupids bow:
Use your lip liner to draw a cross on your upper lip, and then fill in your lip color for that perfect cupids bow.
Lipstick fading away too soon??
After you apply your first layer of lipstick, blot your lips with a tissue and then reapply your lipstick again.
Hope you guys liked it!

Banana is not only great for health but its also extremely effective for skin. Its a natural moisturizer and easily available fruit and so here is a simple DIY face mask using banana.
1 Ripe Banana
1 tbsp Honey
Smash the banana and mix with honey. Apply on your face and keep it for 15-20 minutes until dry and then wash your face. You will notice how soft and smooth your skin feels. Lemon juice can also be added to this mask to get rid of blemishes and skin pigmentation.
Hope you enjoyed !!
.I think I’m officially addicted to liquid lipsticks and have shunned other forms of lipstick, for now at least. Recently I got Ofra Cosmtics long lasting liquid lipstick in the shade MINA. It’s a gorgeous dark deep plum with purple-berry undertones which is appealing to all skin tones.
If you love long lasting, dry matte finish and also which gives good color pay off then you will definitely love this liquid lipstick.
One step full lip color that does not feather. These vibrant colors will give you a vivacious look. They are creamy and soft in texture, moisturizing the lips and creating a long lasting lipstick effect. All shades contain antioxidants and Vitamin E while the formula provides a lightweight layer of lasting color to make you feel fresh all day. Color will last in a perfect condition up to five hours without eating or drinking.
The packaging of this liquid lipstick is nothing special. It comes in a plastic transparent tube and a plastic black lid. The applicator is doe foot shaped so it gets easy to apply. The packaging looks cheap for the price.
This liquid lipstick is fully matte and I have been obsessed with matte lipsticks lately. The consistency is so creamy and mousse kind of a consistency and glides like a butter. It do lasts for long time so because of that it can feel a tad bit drying after couple of hours so I would recommend wearing a thin layer of lip balm before applying this lipstick. It does not give matte look as soon as you apply so you do need to let the color set for about a minute and then its perfect matte! This lipstick can be layered for darker intense look.
The staying power of this liquid lipstick is really good. It lasts up to good 6-8 hours. If you using matte liquid lipstick, I highly recommend you to exfoliate your lips (click here for DIY lip scrub) or apply a lip balm underneath. It gives amazing results. If applied without prepping your lips it might be too drying and may settle in dry flaky cracks and lines. The best thing about this product is it’s cruelty free.
- Large selection of shades
- Very comfortable to wear for a long lasting product
- Easy to apply
- Long lasting
- Very expensive
- Need to prep lips before applying otherwise lipstick can settle in the flaky lip lines
Do let me know your thoughts and your favorite liquid lipstick!
Happy hump day !!
I am sure you all have heard about Micellar water and people raving about it all over social media. Just a week ago I discovered this in skincare aisle at my local drugstore and thought of giving it a try. To be honest, I have no regrets !!
What is Micellar water?
Micellar water is made of tiny little oil particles suspended in water, and these particles latch onto make up to get off of your face. The reason why micellar water has become so popular is because it is very gentle, effective, and a good way to remove makeup without ruining the skin.
How do I use:
Double cleansing is essential step in my skincare routine when I wear makeup. I start cleansing once with coconut oil or cleansing water to remove makeup and then I again cleanse with a foam or cream cleanser to remove excess dirt and impurities that got built throughout the day. For eye-makeup, I soak a cotton pad in micellar water and place it on my eyes for about 10 seconds and gently rub the makeup. Waterproof eyeliner or mascara doesn’t come out easily with this micellar water so I suggest you to use some oil based eye-makeup remover. I generally use coconut oil to remove my eye-makeup.
This cleansing water is amazing. I have been using for a week now and I already love the way my skin feels after using this. It doesn’t dry out my skin and it doesn’t leave an oily residue. It comes in a plastic bottle with a plastic cap. You get a lot of product for decent price. It contains no alcohol, parabens and is also fragrance free.
Price: $8.99 for 13.5 FL Oz (Price may vary)
